Jeff Botz.com I am a Himalayan mountain photographer. My photographic project is titled, Portrait of Everest. It is unique in several ways: first, I am the only person to photograph in the Everest region with the large format(8x10") camera and technique made famous by the master of American landscape photography, Ansel Adams. second, I am the only person to create a comprehensive photographic record of the region by showing, not just Everest but most of the major mountains within a twenty mile radius, also rivers, bridges, base camps etc so the viewer gets a broader panorama of the total area.
